BumperFixers 3-Year Limited Workmanship Warranty
Mobile cosmetic repairs with clear expectations
BumperFixers stands behind the workmanship of qualifying repairs for three years from the repair completion date shown on your invoice. This limited workmanship warranty applies to the repair operations and areas identified on your authorized estimate and final invoice. Touch-up work is excluded from this voluntary workmanship warranty. Rights provided by law remain available.
What is covered
For qualifying repairs, we cover defects caused by our preparation, application, installation or other workmanship within the work we performed. Examples may include peeling, lifting, blistering or loss of adhesion caused by defective preparation or application of the refinished area, or a repair/installation defect caused by our work. We evaluate the cause of each concern rather than assuming every later mark is new damage or every later problem is a workmanship defect.
The invoice identifies the repaired panel or component, the operation performed, whether the work is qualifying repair/refinishing or excluded touch-up, and any specific limitations agreed before work starts. Replacement-part coverage and any manufacturer/supplier warranty will be disclosed separately. Those disclosures do not remove our responsibility for our installation workmanship or any rights provided by law.
What cosmetic repair can achieve
Our goal is a substantial, presentable improvement within the repair scope you authorize. Mobile cosmetic repair does not automatically restore a vehicle to a factory-new condition or include a complete vehicle restoration. Remaining contours, texture, existing scratches, prior repairs or other visible limitations will be discussed and recorded where relevant before you approve the work.
We do not use a numerical percentage as a universal quality standard. Job-specific limitations must be described plainly. A general expectation statement does not excuse defective workmanship or an outcome materially different from the repair you authorized.
Paint color, texture and blending
We aim for a close color match. Paint age, fading, prior refinishing, metallic/pearl orientation, lighting and the difference between plastic and metal can affect appearance. A visible difference can remain between a repaired area and adjacent original or previously repaired paint.
Blending adjacent panels, complete-panel refinishing, color sanding and polishing are included only when specifically listed in your authorized estimate. We do not buff the entire vehicle unless that service is separately authorized. If additional blending or refinishing is recommended, we explain the proposed work and obtain authorization before increasing the scope or price.
A disclosed, reasonably expected variation is different from an avoidable application or color-selection error. Please report a color concern so we can inspect it. This section is not an automatic exclusion of every color-match complaint.
Mobile work environment
Mobile repairs are performed in a suitable work area at your home or workplace. Painting cannot be performed in a parking garage. Outdoor dust, airborne particles, wind, temperature and humidity may affect scheduling or the finish. We take reasonable precautions and may reschedule or stop if conditions are unsuitable. Disclosure of outdoor conditions does not release BumperFixers from responsibility for negligent work or defective workmanship.
What this voluntary warranty does not cover
This workmanship warranty does not cover the following conditions to the extent they caused the claimed damage or were outside the authorized work:
- New accidents, impacts, scratches, chips, vandalism or other damage after completion.
- Normal wear, ordinary weathering, rock chips, chemical spills, harsh cleaners, abrasion or improper care.
- Damage caused by pressure washing, polishing, sanding, coatings, wraps, adhesives or other treatment inconsistent with the written aftercare instructions supplied for the repair.
- Rust, corrosion, hidden damage, failing underlying paint/filler, previous repairs or defects in a customer-supplied component that were not caused by our work. We remain responsible for our assessment, disclosure and workmanship as required by law.
- Damage caused by later work or modifications performed by someone else. Unrelated third-party work does not automatically void coverage of our repair.
- Unrepaired panels, components or systems, or pre-existing mechanical, electrical, sensor, alignment, structural, water-leak or other issues outside the authorized scope. If our work causes or worsens an issue, this statement does not remove responsibility.
- Touch-up work: localized improvement of chips or small marks without full refinishing, identified as touch-up before authorization. Touch-up may remain visible in color, texture or level and has no voluntary workmanship warranty. Statutory rights remain unchanged.
We will explain the reason if a claim is declined, including the observed condition and its relationship to the authorized work. An excluded cause affects the related claim; it does not cancel unrelated coverage automatically.
Aftercare
Follow the written, job-specific cure and care instructions supplied at completion. Cure requirements vary with the materials, conditions and repair. Do not polish, sand, wax, wrap or apply a coating to fresh paint until the stated cure interval has passed. Ask before using pressure washing or an automated wash. If instructions are missing or unclear, contact us before treatment. Aftercare noncompliance affects a claim only where it caused or contributed to the concern.
How to request warranty service
Call or text (760) 965-7800 or email info@bumperfixers.com. Provide your invoice/job number, repair date, affected area, a description and close-up/wider photos. Please contact us promptly after noticing a concern and give us a reasonable opportunity to inspect the repair.
We will arrange an assessment, explain our findings and, for a covered workmanship defect, correct the affected workmanship at no charge for the covered labor and materials needed for that correction. The repair method and timing will depend on the condition, suitable working conditions and applicable law. Additional remedies remain available where required by law. No inspection or diagnostic fee will be charged without advance disclosure and authorization.
Please contact us before arranging non-emergency corrective work elsewhere so we can review the concern. This request does not waive legal remedies, forbid necessary safety action or automatically void coverage because another business inspected the vehicle. Keep photos and receipts where practical.
If you move outside our service area or cannot arrange a mobile inspection, contact us to discuss a practical assessment method. Do not assume reimbursement or travel charges without agreement; legal rights remain unchanged.
Your rights
This warranty does not waive rights or remedies provided by applicable law, disclaim implied warranties where prohibited, release negligence or intentional misconduct, require removal of a review, or make payment/sign-off a waiver of an undiscovered defect. Any remedy limitation applies only to the extent allowed by law. You may have additional rights under applicable law.
The warranty document and specific repair scope will be made available before authorization. A later website revision does not retroactively reduce coverage promised for an earlier repair. Keep your estimate, invoice, warranty version and aftercare instructions together.
