BUMPERFIXERS WARRANTY POLICY
At BumperFixers, we take pride in delivering quality mobile bumper, dent, and scratch repairs throughout San Diego, Riverside and Orange Counties. We stand behind our workmanship and believe every customer deserves clear expectations, transparent service, and dependable support after their repair.
OUR 3-YEAR LIMITED WORKMANSHIP WARRANTY
BumperFixers provides a 3-year limited workmanship warranty on qualifying repairs, running from the repair completion date shown on your invoice. The invoice identifies the repaired panel or component and the work performed, so the coverage on your repair is written down rather than remembered.
If a covered workmanship defect appears within the warranty period, we correct the affected workmanship at no charge for the covered labour and materials needed for that correction.
Cover runs from the repair completion date shown on your invoice, for the panels and operations listed there.
We won't charge an inspection or diagnostic fee without telling you in advance and getting your go-ahead.
Call or text (760) 965-7800 with your job number and a couple of photos, and we'll arrange an assessment.
WHAT IS COVERED
For qualifying repairs, we cover defects caused by our preparation, application, installation or other workmanship within the work we performed. The invoice identifies the repaired panel or component, the operation performed, whether the work is qualifying repair or refinishing, or excluded touch-up, and any specific limitations agreed before work starts.
We evaluate the cause of each concern rather than assuming every later mark is new damage, or every later problem is a workmanship defect. Replacement-part coverage and any manufacturer or supplier warranty is disclosed separately, and those disclosures do not remove our responsibility for our own installation workmanship or any rights provided by law.
REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS
Our goal is a substantial, presentable improvement within the repair scope you authorise. Mobile cosmetic repair does not automatically restore a vehicle to factory-new condition, and it is not a complete vehicle restoration. Remaining contours, texture, existing scratches, prior repairs or other visible limitations are discussed and recorded where relevant before you approve the work.
We don't use a numerical percentage as a universal quality standard. Job-specific limitations are described plainly, and a general expectation statement does not excuse defective workmanship or an outcome materially different from the repair you authorised.
COLOUR & TEXTURE
We aim for a close colour match. Paint age, fading, prior refinishing, metallic or pearl orientation, lighting, and the difference between plastic and metal can all affect appearance, so a visible difference can remain between a repaired area and adjacent original or previously repaired paint.
Blending adjacent panels, complete-panel refinishing, colour sanding and polishing are included only when specifically listed in your authorised estimate. We don't buff the entire vehicle unless that service is separately authorised. If additional blending or refinishing is recommended, we explain the proposed work and get your authorisation before increasing the scope or the price.
A disclosed, reasonably expected variation is different from an avoidable application or colour-selection error. Please report a colour concern so we can inspect it — that section is not an automatic exclusion of every colour-match complaint.
WHERE WE WORK
Mobile repairs are performed in a suitable work area at your home or workplace, and painting cannot be performed in a parking garage. Outdoor dust, airborne particles, wind, temperature and humidity may affect scheduling or the finish. We take reasonable precautions and may reschedule or stop if conditions are unsuitable. Disclosure of outdoor conditions does not release us from responsibility for negligent work or defective workmanship.
THE EXCLUSIONS
These conditions are excluded to the extent they caused the claimed damage or were outside the authorised work:
If a claim is declined we'll explain the reason, including the observed condition and its relationship to the authorised work. An excluded cause affects the related claim; it does not cancel unrelated coverage automatically.
AFTER THE REPAIR
Follow the written, job-specific cure and care instructions supplied at completion — cure requirements vary with the materials and the conditions. Don't polish, sand, wax, wrap or coat fresh paint until the stated cure interval has passed, and ask before pressure washing or using an automated wash. If the instructions are missing or unclear, contact us before treating the repair. Aftercare non-compliance affects a claim only where it caused or contributed to the concern.
HOW TO CLAIM
Call or text (760) 965-7800 or email info@bumperfixers.com. Provide your invoice or job number, the repair date, the affected area, a description, and close-up plus wider photos. Contact us promptly after noticing a concern and give us a reasonable opportunity to inspect the repair.
We'll arrange an assessment, explain our findings and, for a covered workmanship defect, correct the affected workmanship at no charge for the covered labour and materials needed for that correction. The repair method and timing depend on the condition, suitable working conditions and applicable law. Please contact us before arranging non-emergency corrective work elsewhere so we can review the concern — that request does not waive your legal remedies, forbid necessary safety action, or automatically void coverage because another business inspected the vehicle. Keep photos and receipts where practical.
Warranty version: October 15, 2026. Earlier repairs retain the terms provided when they were authorised. Rights provided by law remain available.
Text a photo and your ZIP and we'll reply with a ballpark price, the next available slot, and the warranty terms that apply to your repair.
